New summer pants for members of the Armed Forces
The Yumco Vranje Company delivered to the Serbian Armed Forces 11,752 pieces of summer camouflage pants, which will be again a part of field uniforms after 25 years and will greatly affect the comfort of the members of the Armed Forces during the summer months.
Summer pants, which were once a part of the M-77uniform, now have a label M-12 while the cut and pattern do not differ from M-10 camouflage pants. The essential difference is in the material, so the fabric for summer pants is lighter by about 30 percent, has 34 % higher content of cotton component, as well as much better air permeability.
During 2016, the Yumco Vranje Company also produced and delivered to the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces components for M-10 field uniform for the purpose of forming another 5000 sets to fill material reserves and about 900 sets of M-10 field uniforms in both standard and desert pattern used by members of the Armed Forces to be deployed to multinational operations. This increased the material reserves of the Armed Forces and provided equipping of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces to be deployed to the missions in the next one year period.
From 2012 until today, the Yumco Vranje Company delivered to the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces military clothing worth about 1.5 billion dinars.
In the forthcoming period, the Ministry will continue with the purchase of M-12 summer pants, in order to supply all the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces with them, and with the further replenishment of reserves of uniforms and other equipment.
