7th CISM Summer Training Camp � Kopaonik 2016
At the 51st Kopaonik Ski Training Area, the 7th CISM summer training camp – Kopaonik 2016 is being held, and it started on 13th July to last until 8th August. Military athletes competing in orienteering, judo, military pentathlon, skiing, biathlon and athletics, train two or three times a day. under the watchful eye of technical managers and trainers, preparing themselves to participate in prestigious national and international military sport competitions, which will be organized under the auspices of the International Council for Military Sports (CISM).During the camp, professional discussions was organized on the draft Rulebook on sport activities for the needs of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, which was attended by members of the working team for developing the draft and Brigadier General Sinisa Radovic, Head of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to CISM, who also visited
the camp participants.In the final stage of training camp, from 4th to 8th August, the 6th CISM Challenge Cup in Mountain Running will be held in which, in addition to members of the athletic team of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, the members of the national teams of the armed forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Macedonia and Poland will compete.
Organizer of the 7th CISM summer training camp Kopaonik 2016 is the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, in cooperation with local governments of Raska, Brus, Leposavic, and the Athletics Federation of Serbia, Public Company Ski Resorts of Serbia, NP Kopaonik, MK Resort and Jasenice Sporting Society.
