Signing of the Protocol on Donation for the PELT Programme
Brigadier General Dragosav Lackovic, Head of the Personnel Department of the Human Resources Sector, and Clare Sears, Director for Serbia and Western Balkans at British Council in Belgrade, signed a Protocol on Donation for the Programme for English Language Training for the personnel of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces in the field of English language – PELT.The donation comprises IT equipment, i.e., SMART Board interactive audio systems, laptops, multi-functional printers, dictaphones and audio devices. The equipment will be used for STANAG Test team of the PELT Directorate, English Language Group at Training and Doctrine Department of SAF GS and all Self-Access English Language Learning Centres in the Serbian Armed Forces.
PELT Programme is implemented with the support and in cooperation with the Kingdom of Norway, Great Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United States, with expert and logistic support of the British Council in Belgrade. The donation is a continuation of the activities that are being realized through partnerships with PELT donor countries, for the development of efficient, long-term and a stable system of courses, testing and evaluation of English language for members of the MoD and SAF according to STANAG 6001.
