Recognition of military psychologists
Section of military psychologist is this year's winner of the traditional award of the Serbian Psychological Association, "Ljuba Stojic" award for contribution to the work and development of the Serbian Psychological Association. The award was presented at the opening of the 64th Scientific and Professional Conference of the Serbian Psychological Assembly, which this year takes place on Zlatibor, entitled "Relations and boundaries – psychology and interpersonal relations".Short after its foundation in late 2014, a section of military psychologists managed to promote the work of the defence system psychologists in the professional public by a number of continuous activities in the field of psychological prevention, selection, counselling, preparation, treatment, health care and educational activities as well as the work in specialized agencies of the Ministry of Defence.
At this year's conference, psychologists from the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces presented their activities at the symposium "Psychological activities in the defence system", with Tatjana Visacki, MSc, from the Strategic Research Institute of the MoD Defence Policy Sector, as a moderator, and at the round table "Model of mental health prevention of the members of MoD and SAF", whose moderators were Verica Djordjevic and Aleksandar Vlajic, psychologists from the Serbian Armed Forces.
