Defence Minister extends best wishes on the occasion of the Military Printing House Day



I extend to all members of the Military Printing House "Beograd" my sincere congratulations as they celebrate 6th May – the Day of this institution.

On that day in 1898, King Aleksandar I Obrenovic, under the Law on Organization of the Army and the Law on the Organization of the Ministry of War, issued a decree on establishing a printing workshop with one manager, the staff and the necessary typesetters and interns, as a part of the Geographic Department of the Ministry of the War.

Continuing a tradition of more than a century, thanks to human resources which you have, in the previous period you gave a significant contribution to the printing of military professional literature, military magazine, periodical military publications and other promotional materials presenting the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and their activities as well as the works in the field of scientific research of interest both for the defence system and the Republic of Serbia.

I am sure that you will continue to achieve outstanding results in the field of printing industry. With greetings for the holiday, I sincerely wish you in the coming period to achieve outstanding results and with your work give a contribution to the further development and prosperity of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence.
