State Secretary Neric visits "Prvi partizan" in Uzice
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Nenad Neric visited "Prvi partizan" in Uzice accompanied by the Head of the Department for Defence Technology Major General Bojan Zrnic and Acting Commander of the Second Brigade Colonel Zeljko Kuzmanovic and talked with the management of that company of the Serbian defence industry.- I am very much satisfied with the success that this factory has achieved in an extremely sensitive and strict military market. I have assured myself that the people working here are worthy, responsible and successful workers who, above all, love their job and their company, with the host attitude to obligations, and interest that the factory be as successful and competitive as possible. The Ministry of Defence values such business relationships and will find ways to help the "First Partizan" in achieving the realistic and ambitious investment plan. We will support the business management in the planned development of the production programmes enabling them to effectively cope with competition in the market, which with respect to tradition, quality of products and management ambitions will not be particularly hard for them –State Secretary Neric said.
He particularly emphasized the satisfaction that the factory in recent years hired more than 1,000 new employees, which resulted in the increase of production and the desire of the company to meet the needs of all customers, or at least as many regular partners as possible.
General Director of "Prvi partizan" Dobrosav Andric emphasized that the visit of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence is of great importance for the company, especially because of the promise that the Ministry of Defence will continue to assist in the realization of the investment plans.- This company is very successful in the market of military, sport and hunting ammunition. It can be said that we represent the brand of the Serbian state in that field. Our products are present on the market of about seventy countries. Great attention here is paid to safety at work, but also to investing in the future – Andric assessed.
According to him, all the capacities of the factory have been employed again this year, so that there are plans for investing in the expansion of production, and the previous year was a record one both in the production and in sales, which contributed to achieving the 100 percent higher profit.
During today's visit to the factory of the defence industry in Uzice, after the meeting with the management, State Secretary Neric with his associates visited most of the plant of "Prvi partizan".
