Defence minister extends best wishes on the occasion of the Day of the Military Academy



I extend congratulations to cadets, students in the School for Reserve Officers and to professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces on education, training and in service at the Military Academy, on the occasion of 18 March – the Day of the Military Academy.

Over 166 years of the existence and work, being included in the higher education system in our country, through exchange of cadets and officers and cooperation with military academies in foreign armies, you credibly represent a modern scientific institution for training of officer corps from our and other countries.

Military education today takes new forms and faces a number of temptations and commitments which you manage to successfully overcome thanks to highly trained and professional staff and good human resources. Regardless of the circumstances for operation, many results and notable successes have been achieved in the field of education.

I congratulate you on your holiday, with the desire that in the forthcoming period you continue to fulfil the set commitments and tasks in the field of military education giving full contribution to the successful development of the Serbian Armed Forces by your results in the teaching process and scientific research.
