Analysis of the work of MoD Regional Centre Belgrade
Analysis of the execution of tasks from the functional competence of the Ministry of Defence Regional Centre Belgrade in 2015 was held today at the Air Force and Air Defence Command.The analysis was attended by Chief of the Department for Defence Obligations Colonel Dragan Kotarlic, representatives of the organizational units of the SAF GS and the war units of the Serbian Armed Forces that directly cooperate in the realization of the mentioned tasks.
The analysis included discussion about the tasks executed in 2015. It was pointed out that the tasks of planning the defence preparations in the MoD Regional Centre Belgrade, as well as in most defence subjects in its territory of jurisdiction were carried out in accordance with the Law on Defence and the orders of the Directorate for Defence Obligations. On the territory of jurisdiction of the MoD Regional Centre Belgrade, 23 defence subjects are developing complete defence plan, in accordance with the law, general acts relating to defence in accordance with the Plan of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Guidelines on the methodology for the development of defence plans. Planned visits and provision of expert assistance enabled high level of the development of defence plans of the subjects from the jurisdiction of the MoD Regional Centre Belgrade.
During the year, the MoD Regional Centre Belgrade entered 8241 conscripts into the military records. During the year, 471 candidates have been sent to medical examinations and psychological tests for the purpose of voluntary military service under arms and 281 candidates were referred to training centres in four referral periods. In cooperation with representatives of the defence subjects, the tasks of manning the war units of MoD, SAF and special civil protection units with persons from the reserves and their equipping with movable assets, and manning of labour obligation units with persons who have labour obligation were fully accomplished.
One of the main tasks for 2016 is the opening of a branch office of the MoD Centre Zemun in the City Municipality of Surčin, which the only remaining city municipality where the MoD Regional Centre Belgrade has no organizational unit. The centre of the Ministry of Defence for the local government which was proclaimed to be the best is the MoD Centre Zvezdara.
The MoD Regional Centre Belgrade had no extraordinary events in 2015.
