Ceremonial academy on the occasion of the Day of the Fourth Brigade

In Military House in Vranje, a gala ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Fourth Army Brigade and Vranje Liberation Day - 31 January was held.

The academy was attended by Army Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, Commander of the 4th Army Brigade Brigadier General Zoran Lubura, Secretary of State Negovan Stankovic, representatives of local governments of Vranje, Cetinje, Novi Pazar, Stip, Nis, Sokobanja, veterans' associations, schools, and institutions.

Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Binicki" once again held a gala concert for citizens of Vranje under the baton of maestro Pavle Medakovic, while primadonna Jadranka Jovanovic and opera champion Oliver Njego enchanted the audience with their performances of popular numbers. Citizens of Vranje and members Vranje garrison gave standing ovations for the performances of melodies from the Serbian tradition and Serbian liberation wars.

On the occasion of celebrating the slava of the Fourth Brigade Saint Athanasius the Great, in the eponymous chapel, which is located in the barracks First Infantry Regiment of Prince Milos the Great in Vranje, liturgy was conducted this morning. The liturgy was headed by Episcope of Vranje Mr Pahomije with priests and monks of the Vranje diocese.
