- In the past period, Angola has been a strategic partner of the Republic of Serbia in Africa, and we hope that it will be so in the future, State Secretary said, adding that the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia will continue cooperation in the field of defence through military - economic, but also the military - military, military education, military medical and other forms of cooperation of mutual interest. In the coming period, it is expected that a new group of cadets from Angola will arrive at the MA and the Medical Faculty of the MMA.

- Thanks to the Serbian-Angolan Committee for Cooperation, the Ministry of Defence provides support and supports the participation of Serbian companies in the Angolan market, which is very important because in this way we help the local economy- Djordjevic explained.

State Secretary for material resources and infrastructure of Angola Salvino de Jesus Sequeira “Kianda”, who heads the Angolan delegation, thanked the hosts for their warm reception and good conditions for work, and stressed that it is always nice to come back to Serbia and continue deepening the cooperation and friendship.

Angola has had many positive results but the bad international economic situation has slowed down the implementation of many projects initiated by the Government. The economy will still continue to grow, and this will affect the continuation of the modernization, including the Armed Forces of Angola - said "Kianda", and added that Serbia will continue to be a cornerstone of the process of modernization of military means because it has the scientific and technological knowledge.

- Therefore, we intend to continue the excellent cooperation we have had so far and we expect significant results from the fruitful meeting that we have started and we are ready to give our full contribution to that end.
