Diplomas awarded to the graduate cadets of the Military Academy

Diplomas were presented by Head of the Military Academy Major General Goran Zekovic, while the cadets of the aviation corps were presented with aviation insignia by Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Major General Ranko Zivak.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Jovica Draganic, Rector of the University of Defence Prof. Mladen Vuruna, defence attaché of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Ahmed Boudra, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Serbian Armed Forces, University of Defence, and parents, relatives and friends of the graduates.
Congratulating the cadets on the successful completion of the training, Deputy Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Jovica Draganic said that becoming a second lieutenant was difficult, and that they knew best how many exams, how much training and camping went into getting a rosette on one’s officer epaulets.
- However, being an officer will not be any easier. Aside from the officer epaulets, your shoulders will soon carry the burden of obligations that go with the officer's call. You have now completed one important, difficult, but in its own way nice stage in life and you are moving into adulthood of working age. Do not be scared by this. Timidity is not characteristic of officers. At the Military Academy, you have acquired the necessary theoretical knowledge and a bit of the much-needed practice. The rest of it you will learn in your unit, through work and proper military attitude - Deputy Chief of General Staff said, wishing the youngest SAF officers success in their military career.
The best cadet in the study program "Management in defence" is Marko Lakic with the average of 9.53, and in the program "Military electronic engineering" Stefan Petkovic (9.26). In the study program "Military machine engineering" best success (9.18) was achieved by Marija Milic, and in "Military chemical engineering" by Jelena Stojanovic (7.95). The most successful cadet in the study program "Defence Logistics" is Bojana Regodić (9.84), and in the program "The Air Force" is aircraft pilot Bosko Markovic (9.58).
Awards for the best final papers in the field of socio-humanistic and technical - technological sciences were awarded to cadets Vlada Pantic and Danilo Lazovic by Acting Dean of the Military Academy Colonel Prof. Dr. Milic Milicevic.

Cadets of the 136th class, 157 of them achieved an average score of 8.26 during the studies, which marks the best results in the last decade. They have mastered all contents of military training and acquired the necessary competencies to perform the initial duties in their corps or services.
The four-year education is provided in 6 accredited study programs in the field of socio-humanistic, technological and mathematic sciences, and is adapted to the highest standards of higher education.
This year, during the ceremony, diplomas were handed out for the first time to students of master academic studies as well as first-class civil students, of which there are a total of 146 at the Military Academy studies.
Cadets, who have now received professional titles of graduate managers in defence, or engineers, will officially become the youngest SAF officers at tonight’s ceremony in front of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
