The visit to factory Milan Blagojevic namenska Lucani
Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic today visited the "Milan Blagojevic - namenska" in Lučani , where the director of the renowned manufacturer of single base and double-base propellants , Rados Milovanovic spoke on the current operations of the factory .

- It is not uncommon for the director Milovanovic and me to have a meeting on Sunday . I am here today to convey the statutory provisions of the Government of Serbia concerning the number of employees in all industries, with the clear message that the number of employees has to reduce while raising effectiveness at work. The goal to reduce the number of employees in the defense industry by ten percent by 31st December- said the Minister cousin.
According to him , the industry is privileged , because in some segments of the public sector there have been threefold downsizing, noting that since 1st January in the defense industry sector no new people will be employed without the consent of the Ministry of Defence.

- What we saw today during a tour of the " Milan Blagojevic - namenska " shows that we need to be better coordinated in order to avoid going to the products of this plant attractive to Romanian and Bulgarian customers and that is not good for customers Serbia. Every penny is essential to us, every cent is unsustainable and that the products that we produce are buying from those who see us as a market .
According to the Minister of Defence , over the next week in Belgrade we will meet three directors of the factory sector of the defense industry, with representatives of the Military Technical Institute and the Department of Material Resources of the Ministry of Defence which will be discussed as to what should be done to improve the business cycle and to reduce dependence on imports as much as possible.

- We received instructions to do business in the year ahead , especially as regards employment , but also in relation to cost reduction , which is a necessary measure in a time in which we operate.
"Milan Blagojevic - Namenska " Lučani is part of the Serbian defense industry today and in the production of single-base and double-base propellants it is a recognized manufacturer . It operates as a closed joint stock company in which 67.78 per cent equity in state-owned and employs about 1100 workers . The factory , which exports to 26 countries in Europe , Asia, North and South America, has QMS certificate according to the ISO 9001 standard.
