TRZ Cacak day marked
On the occasion of 30th September, the Day of the Technical Repair Institute "Cacak" and its institutions, the day was marked by a series of commemorative activities. The ceremony was attended by Commander of Land Forces Lt. Gen. Ljubisa Dikovi? and Chief of Logistics of the General Staff Brigadier General Danko Jovanovic, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, local authorities, religious communities, business partners of the Institute, pupils from Cacak and many guests.Congratulating the holiday on behalf of all members of the Army, General Dikovic said that he saw that institution as the one which closely works with other scientific institutions and institutes on daily basis, because without it can not develop their capacities and to follow the modern trends in carrying out their activities.
- I am certain, that the Institute has potential to overcome all difficulties easily- said general Dikovic.
Deputy director of the Cacak Technical Repair Institute Lieutenant Stojko Biocanin said that in the past 86 years, the institute has been carrying out successfully to maintain the technical resources of the Army of Serbia in order and good shape. As in past years, as he pointed out, the institute continues with the modernization as well as the procurement process, and overhaul of modern devices and equipment, and the purchase of several machines is under way.The engineers and workers from the Institute visited took training in France, pretaining to the maintenance of top-notch "Tales"equipment, as well as training for the highest level of maintenance of firing weapons "Heckler" and "Koch". In addition, the Institute is has trained 166 members of logistics in various specialties. We managed to acquire 20 new technologies and manufacturing, repair thus contributing significantly to the holding of this year's International Fair "Partner 2011". Also, this year, like last, the International Fair of Inventions , TRZ Cacak has received a gold medal for overall performance at the manifestation - said Lt. Col. Biocanin.
He said that the new formation is better organized, with younger staff who thus enhanced the ability of the Institute for opening up to and adopting new and modern technologies.
During the tour of attractive display of signaling equipment, and SUVs, weapons and other funds that the institution in the regular repair of the manufacturing process for the needs of our military on the grounds of the Overhaul Institute, the guests and visitors had the opportunity to look around and to find out more from the employees.Among the many exhibits the ones which stood out and drew special attention the combat vehicle for the police forces M86a and off-road white "Puch" vehicle with UN markings adapted for our members’ participation in peacekeeping missions around the world.
- The precursor of the Technical Repair Institute is the Engineering Technical Institute, which was established on 30th September 1925, when the State Council of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, supported the decision of the Cacak municipality to give the land for its construction.
