Lecture on NATO codification system
The representatives of the NATO codification committee AC/135 chaired by Mr. George Bond held a lecture and a workshop under the title “Use of the NATO codification system in logistics and defense industry”.The lecture was attended by top people of the MoD/SAF logistics system, head of the departments, directors of defense industry and persons directly in charge of codification.
Following the inking of the agreement and the gaining sponsored membership of the NATO codification system, as of May this year, all preparations have been made including the plans for reaching the required levels of codification in MoD and SAF.
A road-map paper has been drafted so far so next year we expect for the SAF to have an independent codification system of military arms and equipment manufactured by the Serbian defense industry.The lecture was organized by the Directorate for standardization, codification and metrology of the defense Technologies Department.
