Chief of General Staff in Church of St. Alexander Nevsky on Easter
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović spent the Easter Vigil in the Church of Saint Alexander Nevsky in Belgrade, in anticipation of this great Christian holiday.
At midnight, General Mojsilović attended the Easter matinee and the liturgy with the Serbian Armed Forces delegation after which he talked with the Head of the Church, proto-vicar Stevan Vukić and the clergy.
He thanked them for their welcome and hospitality, expressing his satisfaction that he had the opportunity to visit this church of the Archbishopric of Belgrade and Karlovci of the Serbian Orthodox Church on the festival marking the Resurrection of our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ.
The Chief of the General Staff extended his sincere and heartfelt holiday wishes to all Christian citizens of the Republic of Serbia who celebrated the Resurrection of Christ on the same day this year, wishing them peace and joy while spending the holiday with their loved ones.
During his visit to the Church of Saint Alexander Nevsky, the Chief of the SAF General Staff was accompanied by Head of the Logistics Directorate (Ј-4) Major General Saša Petrović, Head of the HR Directorate (Ј-1) Brigadier General Slađan Hristov, PhD, and Head of the CHOD’s Office Colonel Boris Stojković.
