Minister Gašić presents promotion and appointment decrees
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić presented today decrees issued by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, promoting and appointing SAF officers to new duties. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
By presidential decree, Major General Brane Krnjajić has been appointed as Air Force and Air Defence Commander. Brigadier General Slavko Rakić and Brigadier General Milan Lazić have been promoted to major generals, while Colonel Vladimir Planić has been promoted to brigadier general and appointed as Director of Military Intelligence Agency.
Brigadier General Novica Gogić has been appointed as Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence. Colonel Momčilo Milinkov has been appointed as Commander of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
Minister Gašić congratulated the officers on their promotions and new appointments and told them that with their meritorious service they had justified the trust bestowed upon them and that they had successfully carried out all the tasks assigned to them. According to him, the results one achieves, as well as their professionalism and dedication to work are always recognized. He wished the officers much success in their future careers.
