Visit by Ohio National Guard delegation

As part of the Ohio-Serbia State Partnership Program, representatives of the Ohio National Guard have spent several days in our country, led by Assistant Adjutant General for Air Major General David Johnson.
The visit is a continuation of a long-standing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, and this time, the emphasis was on the exchange of professional experience in air operations and cyber security, as well as on the cooperation between the two armed forces’ military bands.

The Ohio delegation took part in a roundtable held at the Air Force and Air Defence Command. The roundtable, which was chaired by Major General Brane Krnjajić, deputy commander of this operational unit of the Serbian Armed Forces, discussed interoperability in air operations.
During the visit, expert meetings on flight safety and aircraft maintenance were held between Air Force delegations of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard.

During his visit to our country, General Johnson also paid a call to the IT and Signals Training Centre based in Gornji Milanovac, where he was presented with the capabilities of this SAF specialized training centre and the possibilities of cooperation on cyber security.

Activities like this help improve the interoperability between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard and contribute to strengthening the overall military-to-military relations between Serbia and the United States of America.
