Today, the Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, visited several Army and Training Command units in the Kruševac Garrison. During the tour, he inspected the living and working arrangements, situation, operational and functional capabilities and the degree of completion of principal tasks at the Rasina Brigade, Logistics Training Centre, CBRN Defence Centre and the 246th CBRN Battalion.
He was briefed by unit commanders on the most important activities carried out at their units and the plans for the upcoming period. General Janković also inspected the condition of accommodation and training facilities, study rooms, laboratories, technical and training workshops, and attended a training session where the soldiers carried out surveillance of an area where depleted uranium munitions had been used, and concluded that the soldiers and leaders are highly motivated, well-trained and competent at their roles.
General Janković was accompanied on his tour by the Deputy Commander of the Training Command, Brigadier General Nebojša Cvetković, and the Chief of Staff of the Army Command, Colonel Grujica Vuković.
