Military Academy cadets demonstrate their skills

A demonstration of skills of the Military Academy’s 146th and 147th classes has been held at this higher education institution’s training area at the General Jovan Mišković Barracks.
The display was attended by the Rector of the Defence University, Brig. Gen. Boban Đorović, Ph.D., Commandant of the Military Academy, Colonel Srđan Blagojević, Ph.D., Rector of the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies, Zoran Đurđević, Ph.D., and members of the Defence University.
Today's demonstration included activities showing infantry tactics, urban warfare, an incursion into a building using airsoft guns and the reconnaissance and combat drone, as well as a situational shooting drill at an improvised range. The cadets also showed how to establish an observation post and prepare artillery weapons, and members of the wrestling club demonstrated their exercise routine.
According to the Head of the Infantry Tactics Instructor Group, Lieutenant Colonel Miša Živković, today the cadets presented certain segments of their practical training in deploying artillery and infantry tactics. He emphasized that today's demonstration was successfully conducted, owing largely to the high motivation and professional approach of the cadets and their superiors to practical training.
All interested young men and women can apply for enrolment in military schools until March 31.
