A Serbian Armed Forces CASA C-295 aircraft heading to the Republic of North Macedonia has taken off with four doctors and four nurses on board to provide medical evacuation of those injured in last night’s accident in Kočani.
 
The aircraft is planned to evacuate 12 patients, who will receive treatment at the Military Medical Academy and the Clinical Centre of Serbia.

Two patients who have been transported from North Macedonia by
military ambulances are being treated at the Niš Military Hospital and the Clinical Centre of Niš. Three patients are currently being transported by ambulances and will be admitted to the Military Medical Academy.

It is planned that two Military Medical Academy doctors (a plastic surgeon and an anaesthesiologist), as well as a scrub nurse, will remain in North Macedonia to provide medical assistance to the injured.
