Minister Gašić offers condolences following tragedy in Macedonia



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has extended his condolences to the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the families of the victims killed in the tragic accident that took place in Kočani last night.

- It is with great sadness that we have received the news of the tragedy which claimed the lives of a large number of citizens of the friendly Republic of North Macedonia. We are horrified by the tragic loss of so many lives and I assure you that every member of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, every citizen of our country, shares the grief you are experiencing now," Gašić has written.
 
He has expressed hope that the brotherly Macedonian people will find the strength to recover from the effects of this horrific accident.

- We will pray to the Lord to embrace the innocent victims and grant their souls heavenly abode, and to be a support to their families in times of the greatest trial – reads Minister Gašić’s condolence message.
