Meeting with Commander of Allied Joined Force Command Naples



The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, met today in Belgrade with the Commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples, US Navy Admiral Stuart B. Munsch.
  They discussed the current security situation in the region and the world, modalities of cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and JFC Naples, and prospects for the development of overall relations.
 
Both sides agreed that the established relations were professional and constructive, contributing to peace and stability in the region, and expressed mutual determination to improve cooperation in areas of common interest.
  It was established that the existing cooperation mechanisms facilitated further improvement of the overall relationship, while fully respecting Serbia’s neutrality.
 
Having in mind that the international peacekeeping force in Kosovo and Metohija was under the responsibility of JFC Naples, a significant part of the conversation was dedicated to the security situation in our southern province.
  Later today, Admiral Munsch will be received by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić.
