International course at CBRN Training Centre

Military personnel from nine countries are attending an international course on biological weapons and toxicology at the Serbian Armed Forces CBRN Training Centre in Kruševac this week.
The trainees are members of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Egypt, Italy, Kazakhstan, United States of America, Slovakia and Montenegro. It is designed for them to improve and broaden their knowledge of biological weapons and toxicology and practice the use of protective equipment against the effects of biological weapons, as well as biological detection, identification and decontamination.

In addition to classes in specialized labs, an improvised laboratory has also been set up for the purpose of the course, where participants will practice response to terrorist attacks using biological agents.
This international training course is being delivered by CBRN Training Centre instructors and experts and visiting instructors from the Military Medical Academy, Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences and the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies.

International courses like this, as well as great interest shown by the armed forces of partner countries in attending courses offered by our Centre, are the best confirmation of the expertise of our instructors and the quality of CBRN training courses conducted in the Serbian Armed Forces.
