In order to provide truthful information to the public and prevent the spread of disinformation, the Ministry of Defence states that the news alleging that a vehicle escorting the President of the Republic was involved in a car accident that took place today in the vicinity of Bor is false.
Unfortunately, this is yet another in a series of false news and spins aiming to discredit one of the most elite units of the Serbian Armed Forces that conscientiously and professionally performs its duty of protecting the highest state and military officials.
The Ministry of Defence calls on the media to refrain from publishing unverified information and tendentious comments misusing the Serbian Armed Forces, as an institution enjoying the greatest public confidence, for political purposes.
