Minister Gašić presents promotion and appointment decrees
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić presented today decrees issued by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, promoting and appointing SAF officers to new duties. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
Director of the Military Security Agency Major General Đuro Jovanić has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant general, while Commander of the Third Army Brigade Colonel Vladan Milosavljević has been promoted to the rank of brigadier general.Major General Srđan Petković has received accelerated promotion to the rank of lieutenant general and has been appointed as Director of the Defence Directorate. Brigadier General Saša Petrović has received accelerated promotion to the rank of major general and has been appointed as Head of the Logistics Department (J-4), Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
Colonel Ivan Krulj has received accelerated promotion to the rank of brigadier general and has been appointed as Commander of the 608th Logistics Base, Logistics Department, Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.Colonel Dragan Mrdak has been appointed as Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Air Defence Command, while Colonel Aleksandar Milićević has been appointed as Commander of the 98th Air Brigade, Air Force and Air Defence.
At the ceremony, Minister Gašić congratulated the officers on their promotions and new appointments and wished them much success in their future careers. He stressed that the presidential decrees were an acknowledgment of their dedicated work and outstanding results they had achieved, and emphasized that their commitment to military profession should be an example and incentive for younger leaders.
