Flight training on Orao aircraft
Members of a fighter-bomber squadron of the 98th Air Brigade stationed at the Morava military air base near Kraljevo are conducting intensive training on Orao attack aircraft.
These activities, which are part of regular training for both pilots and technical staff, aim to maintain and improve the skills needed to provide aerial fire support to ground troops and Special Forces during military operations.During this training phase, standard tactics, techniques and procedures are being practiced, and the focus is on carrying out flight missions in groups of several aircraft, practicing tactical manoeuvres and conducting simulated engagement of ground targets. In parallel with pilot training, technicians of all specialties, responsible for maintaining and preparing aircraft for flights in all weather conditions, are also being trained.
The squadron will continue with intensive training in the coming period, thereby enhancing the unit’s combat readiness and simultaneously building trust between pilots and technicians, who work closely together when carrying out specific missions.
