10th Serbia-Algeria Mixed Committee meeting on Defence



The tenth meeting of a mixed committee responsible for overseeing bilateral defence cooperation between Serbia and Algeria is being held in Belgrade.  
The Serbian delegation consisting of members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces is headed by the mixed committee co-chair, acting Assistant Minister of Defence for Human Resources Siniša Radović, and the Algerian delegation by the director of the Central Directorate for Materiel of the Algerian Ministry of National Defence, Major General Touami Reddaoui.

During the plenary and the meeting of mixed subcommittees, specific proposals and activities to be undertaken by both parties were defined, with the aim of further strengthening cooperation in the areas of military to military cooperation, education, industry, health and security. The formation of a new subcommittee on information and communications was also discussed.
In addition to the members of the Serbia-Algeria Mixed Committee, the meeting was also attended by representatives of PE Jugoimport-SDPR.
