Military schools have “Open Days" every Saturday
As part of the “Open Days” campaign, the Ministry of Defence invites all interested candidates to visit military schools – the Military Academy, the Military Grammar School and the “1300 Corporals“ Secondary Vocational Military School every Saturday until March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to learn about their schooling methods and the advantages they offer.
Interested students and their parents will have the opportunity to gain first-hand information about different study programmes, curricula, classrooms and accommodation facilities offered by these educational institutions, as well as their enrolment procedures. Cadets of the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, and students of the Military Grammar School and the Secondary Vocational Military School will lead these activities, sharing their personal experiences of their education in these schools. Cadets and students will offer a closer look at daily duties, special forms of school activities and extracurricular activities from their own perspective, and visitors can take a tour of the accommodation, classrooms and sports facilities to gain an insight into the quality of study programmes and curricula, modernly equipped classrooms and diverse cultural and sports activities.Officers in charge and professors will be more than ready to answer any questions the visitors may have about enrolment procedures, curricula, and opportunities the professional military service offers to young men and women upon completion of education.
This year, the Military Academy organizes, for the first time, entrance exam preparatory classes for the 2025/2026 enrolment, every Saturday until March 29, 2025. Preparatory maths classes take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and physical fitness test preparations from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. To take part in physical fitness test preparations, candidates must have a valid medical fitness certificate.A simulation of the maths entrance exam will be held on March 29, 2025, between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. There will be two testing dates for the physical fitness test and the exact times will be published on the Military Academy website.
The competition for enrolment in the Military Academy, Military Grammar School and the "1300 Corporals" Secondary Vocational Military School will be open as of February 15, and candidates will be able to submit their applications until March 31, 2025.More details can be obtained at the addresses below:
