Ministry of Defence signs agreement with PE “Srbijašume”
Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and the acting director of PE “Srbijašume”, Krsto Janjušević, signed an agreement on business and technical cooperation in supplying the Serbian Armed Forces units deployed in the Ground Safety Zone with firewood through the exchange of goods with this enterprise.
Minister Gašić said that the agreement would greatly facilitate supplying SAF bases with firewood during the heating season.- Members of the Serbian Armed Forces perform responsible duties in the Ground Safety Zone in a professional and conscientious manner, for the benefit of all of us. They perform demanding work and in winter it can be very difficult. By signing the agreement with PE “Srbijašume”, we are creating better living and working conditions for them - said the Minister of Defence. According to him, the agreement specifies the method of exchanging first-class firewood, which "Srbijašume" will be providing starting from the next - 2025/26 heating season.
By the conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Serbia dated December 30, 2024, the Ministry of Defence was given consent to exchange goods with PE "Srbijašume” in order to secure the supply of firewood for members of the Serbian Armed Forces deployed in the Ground Safety Zone.The agreement was concluded for a period of three years, with the possibility of extension.
