Chief of General Staff in Bukovo Monastery on Christmas



The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited the Bukovo Monastery in the Eparchy of Timok, near Negotin, on Christmas. Accompanied by associates, he attended the Christmas Morning Prayer and Liturgy, and then spoke with the abbot, Archimandrite Kozma, and the monks.
  General Mojsilović thanked them for the hospitality, advice, guidance and messages, and said that it was a great honour and pleasure for him to visit that sacred place on the Feast of the Nativity of Jesus, our saviour. He complimented the monks of the Bukovo Monastery on their selfless love, hard work and devoted spiritual service.
 
The Chief of the General Staff sent a heartfelt message from Bukovo to all Orthodox Christians for the Feast of the Nativity of Jesus, wishing them good health, happiness and progress in life.
The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff was accompanied on his visit to the Bukovo Monastery by the Head of the Logistics Department (J-4), Major General Srđan Petković, Head of the Human Resources Department (J-1), Brigadier General Slađan Hristov, Ph.D., Head of the Office of the Chief of the General Staff, Colonel Boris Stojković, and the military chaplain serving with the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Captain Aleksandar Sekulić.
