Thanks to the most advanced weapons and military equipment they have been provided with over the past period and their exceptional degree of skill, members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade can rank with the special forces of the strongest militaries in the world.

Miloš armoured combat vehicles, remotely controlled Mali Miloš combat platforms, Kornet anti-tank systems, top-notch small arms, new uniforms, optronic devices and modern ballistic protection gear are just some of the acquired equipment that greatly helps unit members to conduct their training and carry out their tasks.

Each segment of their training, one of which is rural and urban warfare, is conducted using the newly adopted weapons and equipment. According to the members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, this way, the training process has been greatly facilitated and brought to a higher level, enabling them to carry out the assigned tasks faster and more efficiently.

— Training is a continuous process for our members. In accordance with the plan and depending on the needs of the unit, training becomes more intense in certain periods of the year. During their training, members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade had the opportunity to test and confirm the reliability, safety and quality of the new weapons and equipment, said a member of the 72nd Brigade.

Intensive training and the provision of new equipment help unit members enhance their readiness levels and ability to carry out the most complex tasks in all weather conditions and on all types of terrain.

— The cutting-edge equipment we have been provided with over the past two years enables us to carry out tasks on land, on water, under water and in the air. The fact that we have won gold at the military police competition for three consecutive years, that we have won notable results at the Elite SWAT Competition in Kuwait, and that we have won first and second places at the U.S. Best Warrior Competition speaks of our unit’s ability and readiness.
