Minister Gašić and General Mojsilović visit Defence System Operations Centre
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited the defence system Operations Centre on the first day of 2025, to make sure that the Serbian Armed Forces are carrying out all planned tasks even during the New Year’s celebrations.
After the meeting with senior officers at the Operations Centre, senior national representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces contingents serving in nine multinational operations around the world presented their situation reports via video link. Duty officers from subordinate operations centres also reported on the situation.
According to Minister Gašić, the citizens of the Republic of Serbia do not need to worry, knowing that the members of the Serbian Armed Forces are taking care of their safety, and contributing to world peace.
- It is very important that all members of the Serbian Armed Forces serving in multinational operations are safe, motivated and committed to fulfilling assigned tasks. It should be emphasized that, in the context of current geopolitical events, great attention is being paid to the safety of our members, and I am glad to hear from contingent commanders that they are all well and are successfully performing their tasks in accordance with the mandates of their respective missions - said the Minister of Defence and wished everyone a happy New Year, good health, and lots of happiness.
Minister of Defence was accompanied today by the Head of the Operations Department, General Staff, Major General Gordan Pavlović, the Head of the Office of the
Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Goran Momčilović, the Head of the Office of the Chief of the General Staff, Colonel Boris Stojković, and the Heard of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre, Colonel Mirjana Milenković.
