Cadets and students hold New Year’s Concert with “Stanislav Binički” Art Ensemble
“Stanislav Binički” Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence, cadets of the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, and students of the “1300 Corporals” Secondary Vocational Military School and the Military Grammar School have held a concert to mark the end of 2024.
The concert started with a dazzling solo performance of Branislava Nikolić, a student of “Stanković” Music School, who played Claude Debussy’s “Gardens in the Rain, No. 3” on the piano.Famous military marches performed by “Stanislav Binički” resonated through the Military Academy’s packed concert hall.
The spectacular musical evening had a rich and diverse programme that, apart from famous military compositions, included numerous Serbian musical pieces, which were met with equal enthusiasm by the audience.
Much to the audience’s delight, the concert ended with Leskovac folk dances performed by the two military high schools’ folk dance club.
