PRESS RELEASE

Today at around 8:30 a.m. there was a road traffic accident on the Ibar Highway near the turning towards Ripanj involving a civilian car, which, for unknown reasons, hit an official vehicle carrying Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, and then another official vehicle, which was escorting the minister’s car.

Minister Gašić was not hurt in the accident and he continued performing his regular duties today.

Professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces who were escorting the minister were also uninjured.
