Media Centre "Odbrana" wins award at the 59th Niš Book Fair
Media Centre "Odbrana" of the Ministry of Defence Public Relations Department has won the main award of the 59th Niš Book Fair - ‘Seedling of Wisdom’ for complete publishing production.
Director of the Niš Cultural Centre, Srđan Savić, presented the prestigious award to the Deputy Director of the Media Centre "Odbrana", Lieutenant Colonel Marko Katanić.
At the 59th Niš Book Fair, in the Čair hall, the Media Centre "Odbrana" presented this year’s publications, such as titles from the ‘Military Technique’ edition, the monograph ‘A Century of Military Insignia in Serbia 1845-1945’, ‘The Serbian Cannon, King of the Battlefields’, ‘The Western Balkans in the Jaws of Insecurity’, but also works that preserve the memory of significant events from our recent past, giving visitors the opportunity to gain insight into the complete publishing production.
During the Fair, the Media Centre "Odbrana" held promotions of this year’s most significant works of military journalism, presented by editor M.A. Snezana Djokić from the ‘Vojna knjiga’ editorial office.
The traditional 59th Niš Book Fair, which brought together more than 50 exhibitors, will last until 1st December 2024
