Prime Minister of Slovakia lays wreath near Monument to Unknown Hero atop Mt. Avala



The Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, accompanied by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, laid a wreath today near the Monument to the Unknown Hero atop Mt. Avala, as part of his official visit to our country.
After the wreath-laying ceremony, Prime Minister Fico wrote the following message in the memorial book:
“As part of my official visit to Serbia, I would like to pay my respects to the heroes who laid down their lives fighting for peace and freedom. Slovaks and Serbs, who cultivate close relations, will always stand together on the side of peace, rights and national sovereignty”.
