Agreement signed between Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Sport



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and Minister of Sport Zoran Gajić met today at the Government of Serbia to sign an agreement on determining mutual rights and obligations regarding the use of sports facilities – Athletic Hall and Athletic Stadium at the General Jovan Mišković Barracks in Belgrade.  
The agreement lays down the conditions for holding athletic events and using the sports facilities of the Ministry of Defence to support the development of sports in Serbia.  

The agreement signed between the two ministers specifies that the sports facilities used for the physical training of members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, for the preparation of military athletes for participation at international sports events and for the training of Military Academy cadets, may also be used for the conditioning and competition preparation of all Serbian national athletic teams, as well as for athletic events, professional seminars, conferences, etc.
The signing of the agreement marks continued cooperation between the two ministries, enabling top-performing athletes to train in the best conditions and use modern sports facilities to achieve top results at domestic and international competitions.
