Tour of Trstenik’s Prva Petoletka Company
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, accompanied by Kazakhstan’s Minister of Defence Col. Gen. Ruslan Zhaksylykov and Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapaev, visited today Prva Petoletka-Namenska Company based in Trstenik.
During the tour of the production facilities, General Manager at Prva Petoletka Anđelka Atansković presented the ministers with a part of the company’s product range.Minister Gašić thanked the company management for offering him and the Kazakh ministers the chance to take a tour of the production facilities of Prva Petoletka, a company which, apart from being important for the defence industry, has broader social significance for this part of Serbia. He emphasized the importance of deepening defence industrial cooperation between Serbia and Kazakhstan, since it was of benefit to both sides.
Minister Gašić was accompanied on his tour today by the Head of Office of the Minister of Defence, Brig. Gen. Goran Momčilović, Head of the Defence Technology Department, Brig. Gen. Slavko Rakić, Rector of the Defence University, Brig. Gen. Boban Đorović, Head of the Development and Equipment Department, General Staff, Brig. Gen. Milan Popović, and President of the Municipality of Trstenik Milena Turk.
Later today, Ministers Gašić and Zhaksylykov will take a tour of the landmarks of Trstenik and Kruševac.
