Military Security Agency Day, Security Service Day Message by President Aleksandar Vučić
The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, has sent a message on the occasion of the Military Security Agency Day and the Security Service Day, which reads as follows:
“Dear members of the Military Security Agency,
I would like to extend my congratulations to you, with deep respect and great pride, on November 12 – Security Agency Day and Security Service Day.
Thanks to your dedication and self-sacrifice at work, the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are continuously provided with security and counterintelligence protection at the highest level of professionalism.
The daily efforts of the Agency members are woven into the firm fabric of our country's security system, which effectively prevents numerous attempts at intelligence activity, organized crime and extremism.
In these challenging times of growing and evolving security threats, you are the first line of defence, ready to act swiftly, precisely and decisively. Although your work is often invisible, its importance is immense. You should always be aware and proud of that fact.
To recognize your outstanding achievement in service, I have awarded you the Order of the White Eagle with Swords 1st Class, believing that you will continue to persevere in all your tasks with the same dedication and enthusiasm.
