Basic Public Relations Course completed
A five-day Basic Public Relations Course, organized by the Public Relations Department, Ministry of Defence, was completed today at the Central Military Club in Belgrade. A certificate ceremony was held for the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces who attended the course and earned their certificates of completion.
Head of the Public Relations Department Brig. Gen. Mihailo Zogović, PhD, congratulated the trainees and emphasized the importance of professional training for the personnel performing the duties of public relations officers in the defence system. He emphasized the importance of continuous training in this field and expressed his expectation that the majority of course participants would attend advanced courses organized by the Public Relations Department in the coming years.
In addition to theory lessons, the trainees had the chance to acquire basic knowledge about media, communication and journalism through practical lessons, and were also provided with basic communication and newswriting skills and public speaking techniques.
