Sergeants Major Course students visiting General Staff
Students of the Sergeants Major Course paid a study visit to the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff as part of their Leadership and Command subject area.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the students with the competences and responsibilities of the Sergeant Major of the Serbian Armed Forces and staff sergeants major at strategic command levels, as well as with the organization of the Defence System Operations Centre.During the visit, the students attending the capstone of NCO professional development training were received by the Sergeant Major of the Serbian Armed Forces, Nenad Stević, who shared with them his experience in performing the most responsible duties in providing NCO support to the command.
The 12-week training course is being delivered at the Non-Commissioned Officers Training and Development Centre "Sergeant Milunka Savić". The programme covers subject areas such as leadership and command, training management, resource management, communication skills, military psychology, law and regulations, English language and physical training.
