Tactical training in Serbian Armed Forces infantry units
An intensive cycle of training of infantry units for the performance of combat actions in defence operations is being conducted at the training grounds and training areas of the Serbian Armed Forces.
During this training, the professional personnel improves their skills for the combat use of key weapons and the accomplishment of tactical tasks on the battlefield, and thus for the effective use of forces in operations.
Modern armoured combat vehicles, combat support assets and a wide range of small arms are used in the training. The focus in this phase is on joint tactical drills for the execution of anti-personnel and anti-tank actions.
In the forthcoming period, members of the infantry units are expected to undergo tactical exercises and live fire exercises in winter conditions, when the results achieved in this training cycle will be verified in practice.
The implementation of collective training, which is carried out in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces according to predefined cycles, is key to maintaining a high level of combat readiness and improving the ability to conduct combat operations in all terrain, tactical and weather conditions in which the units may find themselves during the carrying out of specific tasks.
