Course for Duties of Financial Service Authority in a Battalion-Brigade opens
Today, at the Accounting Centre, the Course for Duties of Financial Services Authority in a Battalion-Brigade has been opened, hosted by the Ministry of Defence Budget and Finance Sector.
The course is attended by members of the financial service from the organisational units of the Ministry of Defence and the commands, units and establishments of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Opening the course, Colonel Tomislav Radivojević, PhD, emphasized the importance of continuous professional development for the personnel of the financial service in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces. On that occasion, he added that the course was aimed primarily at revising and acquiring new knowledge in the field of the financial system of the Republic of Serbia, and for the purpose of successfully performing duties under the purview of the financial function in the units and establishments of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
The course programme includes the system of the financial service in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, accounting information system, financial control and audit, adoption and modification of the financial plan, list of assets and liabilities, IT system for salaries, fringe benefits and other allowances, foreign exchange operations, compensation for damages and the role of the Social Insurance Fund for Military Personnel in the financial service system.
