King Mswati III and Minister Gašić attend the demonstration of a part of the capabilities of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade
His Majesty King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini and Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, have attended today the demonstration of a part of the capabilities of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, at the “Rastko Nemanjić” barracks in Pančevo.
They inspected a static display of arms and military equipment, followed by demonstration of shooting at the shooting range, a demonstration of martial arts, anti-terrorist action in urban and rural areas, as well as exercises with mines and explosive devices and reconnaissance by unmanned aerial vehicles.
In addition, the delegation of the Kingdom of Eswatini was shown the level of training of the members of that unit in climbing, handling cold weapons and conquering the commando obstacle course.
On that occasion, Commander of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, Brigadier General Miroslav Talijan, presented some of the newly introduced arms and military equipment used in that unit.
Today's presentation was attended by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Dr Nenad Miloradović, Head of Defence Minister’s Private Office Brigadier General Goran Momčilović and members of the delegation of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
