Minister Gašić: Defence industry reliable partner to Serbian Armed Forces
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić visited today the manufacturing plants of the Krušik Holding Corporation in Valjevo, where he spoke with the factory’s management and employees about their method of work and working conditions, as well as about matters of importance for the factory’s business.
Speaking about the defence industry, Minister Gašić emphasized that it had already proved itself to be a reliable partner to the Serbian Armed Forces in modernizing and enhancing the latter’s capabilities.As part of his visit to Krušik, Minister Gašić took a tour of the factory’s manufacturing facilities and the boiler room, inspected the conditions under which factory employees work and the scope of work that the installation of a gas-fired boiler room requires. At the end of his tour, he had lunch with the factory workers.
The Minister of Defence thanked the employees for their commitment and hard work and expressed his admiration for their ability to ensure uninterrupted functioning of the nearly century-old boiler room.- I believe that the new gas-fired boiler room, the construction of which is underway, will significantly improve the working conditions in the factory and reduce pollution levels in Valjevo - said Minister Gašić.
As part of his visit to Krušik, Minister Gašić attended the signing of a contract for the purchase of Krušik’s products to equip the Serbian Armed Forces, signed by the Ministry of Defence and Krušik.
