Minister Gašić congratulates SAF members: You are the pride of your homeland
Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić congratulated members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces on the wonderfully organized “Flag 2024” capabilities demonstration.
– All our service members who have been involved in the organization and execution of this big and important event deserve acknowledgment and deepest congratulations. Members of our state and military leaderships, with President Vučić at the forefront, as well as the citizens who have come to the military airport in Batajnica today or have watched the event on TV at their homes, share the feelings of happiness and pride knowing that our Serbia has such strong, modern and capable armed forces – Minister Gašić said.
The Minister told service members that the state “deeply appreciates their efforts and sacrifice”.
- More than 6,000 of you have demonstrated today the beauty and power of our armed forces. You, who have shown to Serbia and the whole world how capable and strong you are, should work every day to make the rampart of our defence higher and stronger. You usually do that away from the public and without getting recognition. We are aware of your effort and commitment and we will do everything to continue modernizing our combat assets and improving your living and working conditions. Today, as always, you have justified our trust and investment. You are the pride of your homeland! – said Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić.
