Meeting with Ohio Adjutant General



The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, met today with Major General John Harris, Adjutant General of the Ohio National Guard.
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović were present at the meeting.

Following the meeting, President Vučić said that the meeting discussed the security situation in the region, the relationship between Serbia and the United States of America, as well as potential ways to further improve the bilateral cooperation in defence and other fields.
He conveyed to General Harris his concern about the increasingly tense security situation for Kosovo-Metohija Serbs, and asked the USA for a stronger support “in protecting our people and ensuring that they are able to enjoy their rights”.

According to the President of Serbia, our country is committed to strengthening the overall bilateral relations with the United States of America, particularly in the economic and business domains, with the aim of establishing a strategic partnership in areas of mutual interest.
It was agreed at the meeting that there was mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation between Serbia and the Ohio National Guard, and proposals were made on how to improve it further.
