Minister Gašić attends dress rehearsal for cadets’ commissioning ceremony
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić attended today the dress rehearsal for the ceremony to commission the cadets of the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy as second lieutenants. The commissioning ceremony will be held tomorrow in front of the National Assembly building.
Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lt. Gen. Želimir Glišović and the rector of the Defence University, Brig, Gen. Prof. Boban Đorović, attended the dress rehearsal, as well.
A total of 159 cadets of the Military Academy’s 144th and 145th classes is graduating from the Military Academy, including 3 cadets from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and 2 cadets from the Ministry of the Interior of Republika Srpska. Also, 23 young men and women (10th class) are graduating from the Medical Faculty, Military Medical Academy. A total of 177 cadets of the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy will be commissioned as second lieutenants.
The commissioning ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 14, outside the National Assembly building, starting at 11 a.m. The highest state and military officials, as well as guests from the country and abroad, will be in attendance.
