Serbian Air Defence Systems and UAVs at Egypt International Airshow



A delegation representing the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, led by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, Ph.D., and Air Force and Air Defence Commander Lt. Gen. Duško Žarković, is visiting the Egypt International Airshow 2024. 
Our stand at the fair was visited today by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Miroslav Šestović.

Egyptian Minister of Defence Gen. Abdel Mageed Saqr, accompanied by the commander of the Egyptian Air Force, Air Marshal Mahmoud Fouad Abdel-Gawad, has met with our delegation at Serbia’s Yugoimport SDPR’s stand. On that occasion, Serbian defence industry’s development projects were presented to them and the advancement of the existing cooperation was discussed.

Further meetings are planned for the rest of the visit, where the progress of projects previously agreed upon and further steps to continue cooperation will be discussed in detail.   
The aim of Serbia’s appearance at the Egypt International Airshow is to present the achievements of Yugoimport SDPR, the Military Technical Institute and Serbian contractors in the sphere of aviation industry and unmanned platforms. 

The stand showcases Yugoimport SDPR’s product range and assets that are going through the development process, as well as the assets developed by the Military Technical Institute and the Serbian Defence Industry Group companies:  Sparrow-Hawk, Sparrow, Mosquito drone, Horsefly, Wasp, Shadow, Hornet unmanned helicopter, Raven killer drone, Owl  and Swallow aircraft, etc. 

The Egypt International Airshow, which has gathered a large number of exhibitors, is taking place September 3-5 2024.
