Serbian Armed Forces helping municipalities affected by water shortages
As of today, the Serbian Armed Forces are employing additional personnel and resources to help provide drinking water for the suffering livestock in the area of Donje Novo Selo near Bujanovac.
Members of the Serbian Armed Forces tasked with this assignment are using an engineering machine to clean and organize the only remaining livestock watering place in this village, and a 10,000 l water tanker truck to transport water.
In order to help the municipalities affected by water shortages caused by long-term drought, the Serbian Armed Forces continue to supply water to the residents of Vladimirci, Gornji Milanovac, Mionica, Sjenica, Topola and Ljubovija. Previously, they helped farmers on mounts Suva Planina and Stara Planina by providing water for their suffering animals.
As many times before, members of the Serbian Armed Forces were among the first ones to respond to a call for help in the areas affected by water shortages, reaffirming their readiness to engage at short notice and provide necessary assistance to the citizens of Serbia.
